Coldplay have donated 416,000 dollars to BBC radio DJ Jo Whiley's Sport Relief fundraising campaign, it has been revealed.
The 48-year-old jogged for 26 hours on a treadmill inside a plexiglass display box in London to raise money for the charity, which provides shelter, education, fresh water and vaccines to underprivileged children around the world, Contactmusic reported.
Whiley finished her challenge, which was part of the BBC Radio Around the World for Sport Relief challenge, on Thursday and Coldplay decided to toast her success by cutting her a big cheque.
