Colin Farrell may star in 'True Detective 2'

Colin Farrell is reportedly in deep negotiations to join the cast of the HBO's crime-thriller series 2nd season of 'True Detective.'

Though there hasn't been any official announcement, rumors have been swirling that the 38-year-old 'Fright Night' star would be playing one of the lead roles, the Deadline.com reported.

The series, which is penned by Nic Pizzolatto, might also see Jessica Chastain in the cast of the show's upcoming sequel.
