Communist Party of India (CPI) leader D Raja on Sunday sought from the Swiss Government information on reported news of its preparing a list of Indians who were keeping suspected black money in its banks with the Indian Government and asked the Centre to apprise the parliament of that list.

"I am not aware whether Swiss Government has infact prepared the list of Indians who are keeping black money there. If the Swiss Government has prepared such a list, it should share that list with government of India, in turn government of India will have to share the information with parliament and people of the country, because the issue is being raised now and then in parliament," Raja said.

The CPI leader told ANI that, "Modi became the prime minister.., one of his decisions his government did was to constitute a special investigation team, if all these have some honesty and sincerity, the Government of India should tell the people of this country about those who kept unaccounted money in Swiss banks."

Switzerland has reportedly prepared a list of Indians suspected to have stashed un-taxed wealth in Swiss banks and is being shared with India giving a major boost to government's fight against black money.

India has also constituted a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to probe cases of alleged black money of Indians, including funds stashed abroad in places like Switzerland.

The SIT is being headed by former Supreme Court judge Justice M.B. Shah assisted by former Supreme Court judge Arijit Pasayat, who is named as the Vice Chairman of the SIT.

Secretary Revenue, Deputy RBI Governor, IB Director, ED Director, CBI Director, CBDT Director, Revenue Intelligence Director General, RAW Director are a part of the SIT.
