David Fincher's 'Gone Girl' tops box office for second weekend running

David Fincher's thriller 'Gone Girl' is poised to top the box office for a second week with 26.8 million dollars in ticket sales.

The Ben Affleck-Rosamund Pike starrer, which is based on Gillian Flynn's novel of the same name, beat 'Dracula Untold' that collected 23.5 million, Deadline.com reported.

Disney's Jennifer Garner starrer 'Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day' came in third with 19.1 million dollar earning, followed by the 'Conjuring' spinoff 'Annabelle' that collected 16 million dollars.

The top films at the weekend box office are:

1). Gone Girl- 26.8 million dollars

2). Dracula Untold- 23.3 million dollars

3). Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day- 19.1 million dollars

 

4). Annabelle- 16 million dollars

5). The Judge- 13.25 million dollars

6). The Equalizer- 9.6 million dollars

7). Addicted- 7.6 million dollars

8). The Maze Runner- 7.2 million dollars

9). The Boxtrolls- 6.7 million dollars

10). Meet the Mormons- 3.
