Defence expert Major General (retd.) S.R. Sinho on Saturday dubbed Pakistan as "liar" and said that the photographs of underworld don Dawood Ibrahim published in newspapers are enough to prove that he is living in Karachi.
"Pakistan is a big liar. It is in the DNA of Pakistan to lie. You can imagine about Bin Laden who was residing near Army Headquarter but still Pakistan denied his presence," Sinho told ANI.
"Similarly, in spite of all the evidence given by India, Pakistan denied having any evidence against Hafeez Sayeed and Lakhvi," he added.
Sinho futher claimed that Dawood is an important person for Pakistan, adding that it will never allow extradition of him to India as it will expose the nation completely in front of the world.
A report in a leading English newspaper said that Indian security agencies have gathered evidence to prove that Dawood lives in Pakistan.
Dawood, who is wanted by India in connection with the 1993 Mumbai blasts, and his family have been living in Clifton neighbourhood in Pakistan's Karachi, the report added.
