Delhi HC asks MHA to look into complaints against NDMA, NIDM

The on Tuesday asked the (MHA) to look into complaints regarding the functioning of Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) and Institute of Disaster Management (NIDM) and reply within four weeks.

The court expressed concern over a large number of vacancies in and NIDM. The matter will now come up for hearing on February 24, 2019.

Petitioner Gaurav Bansal, in his plea cited an RTI application which revealed that did not meet between 2014 and September 2018 and that post of (VC) has been lying vacant.
