Despite kisses, 'Befikre' is a family film, says Ranveer

'Befikre' Ranveer Singh is on cloud 9!
Well, who wouldn't be after getting a U/A certificate from Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), considering the infamous long battle between censor board chief Pahalaj Nihalani and Bollywood.
The 31-year-old actor, at the launch of song 'You and I', could not control his delight and said, "We are very glad that CBFC has given us a U/A certificate. It's a very happy film and everyone should come with their families to watch it."
For a censor board obsessed with the right length of on-screen kisses, everyone assumed the Ranveer Singh-Vaani Kapoor starrer to be a trial.
But the 'Bajirao Mastani' star feels that Aditya Chopra's aesthetic sensibility of showing a kiss with a lot of love and warmth is the reason why the film got a U/A certificate.
"No one will get offended while watching the film. The censor board, I think also felt that a kiss is shown with the same kind of warmth as a hug," added the 'Lootera' actor.
On a related note, 'Befikre' is a free spirited, contemporary love story of Dharam and Shyra that is slated to release on December 9.
