An earthquake of magnitude 4.5 hit Nicobar Islands at around 7
As per the National Centre of Seismology, the intensity of the earthquake was slight and touched the yellow stage.
No loss of life, injury or damage to property has been reported so far.

On October 6, an earthquake of magnitude 4.9 had hit the Andaman Sea.
