Former Army Chief General (Retd.) V.K. Singh will appear before a Delhi Court on Saturday in connection with a defamation case.
According to sources, he is not seeking bail, saying the case has been filed to harass him for exposing corruption.
A Delhi Court had earlier issued a bailable warrant against him when he failed to appear in one of the hearings.
General Singh has claimed that Lt Gen Tejinder Singh, who retired as chief of Defence Intelligence Agency in July 2010, made a bribe offer of Rs 14 crore to him when he was the Army Chief for the Tatra truck deal.
He has claimed that he was offered a Rs 14 crore bribe in September 2010 to clear the purchase of a tranche of 1,676 Tatra trucks for the Indian Army.
