After an uneventful year on the circuit, Fernando Alonso is now planning to extend his contract with Ferrari beyond 2016.
The two-time world champion has not won a single race since he joined the Maranello-based team in 2010.
According to the BBC, Alonso, 33, is a target for McLaren, but says he has no desire to leave Ferrari and is in negotiations over a new deal.
Alonso said talk of other teams has never come from him, adding it is always the opposite.
He said that the stories have been going on for a year and was disruptive for him and the team.
He stressed that he wanted to stay at Ferrari and wished to extend his contract with the company.
