Four mines dept. officials abducted in Jharkhand

Four Jharkhand Mines Department officials were reportedly kidnapped on Thursday from the Naxal-affected area of Roro near Chaibasa.

Deputy Directors Bipin Bihari Satiyar, Saket Bharti, Stenographer Mahanti Toppo and driver Nitai Chandra were kidnapped yesterday afternoon while they were going to inspect mines there.

Two police teams have been sent to search for the officials and secure their release.
