France impounds passports of 6 nationals 'allegedly' planning to join IS in Syria

ANI London

France has reportedly impounded the passports of six nationals who were allegedly planning to travel to Syria to join jihadists.

Interior Minister Bernard Cazeneuve said that the intelligence agencies believed that the men intended to join the Islamic State (IS) in the Middle East, reported the BBC.

The move came as part of the new counter-terrorism laws adopted last November.
