'General Hospital' has been nominated in 28 categories for the upcoming 2015 Daytime Emmy Awards.
The long running drama is in the rum for best show, outstanding lead actress in a drama series (Maura West and Laura Wright), outstanding lead actor for 7-time Daytime Emmy winner Anthony Geary and Jason Thompson among others, People magazine reported.
Other nominees for lead actors and actresses include Alison Sweeney and Peggy McCay for 'Days of Our Lives', Gina Tognoni for 'The Young and the Restless,' and Christian LeBlanc and Billy Miller also for 'The Young and the Restless.'
Meanwhile, 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show', 'Live! With Kelly and Michael,' 'The Talk' and 'The Wendy Williams Show' are in the run for outstanding entertainment talk show.
The awards, which will be held on April 26, will also honor Betty White with a lifetime achievement award.
