Manchester United interim boss Ryan Giggs has admitted that he might have to leave the club in order to further his coaching ambitions and has hinted that their home match against Hull City on Tuesday could be his last one at the club.
Giggs, who joined United as a 17-year-old in 1991 and has won 34 trophies at the club, said that it might dawn on him either on Monday or Tuesday if the club's match against Hull City might be his last chance to play at Old Trafford, adding that then he might have to put himself on the bench.
According to the BBC, Giggs said that the perfect scenario would be he coming on and scoring, but added that football does not work that way.
The veteran footballer, who has made 962 appearances for United, has reportedly ruled out the option of playing for another team but said that one can never say yes or no about managing another team.
Giggs, who is currently in his 24th season at Old Trafford, said that he is still a young man in relative terms in management.
Meanwhile, with speculations that Netherlands boss Louis van Gaal is set to become United's new manager, Giggs said that he would not consider playing for another season at the club if the Dutchman offered to extend his current contract, which expires at the end of June.
