'Gravity' tipped for Oscar after DGA award win

'Gravity' has won top prize at Director's Guild of America's (DGA Awards) - the show famous for predicting the Oscars winners.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the Guild has given the award 65 times, and 58 times the winning film went on to win Best Director at the Oscars, and 52 times, the film won Best Picture, the Verge reported.

The award is decided by the Guild's 15,000-some members, including almost every major-studio director.
