Gujarat CM Anandiben Patel congratulates Amit Shah on becoming party President

Gujarat Chief Minister Anandiben Patel welcomed Amit Shah on his arrival to Gujarat on Friday and congratulated him for taking charge as president of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

Shah, also a close aide of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, took charge as the BJP's new president yesterday.

Regarding Shah's takeover, former party president Rajnath Singh had said, "He has all the capabilities and management skills required for the strengthening of organization.
