Brighton manager Gustavo Augusto (Gus Poyet) has been suspended after he sent an angry mail to his employees after excrement was found on the floor of the Crystal Palace dressing room ahead of a key Championship play-off at the Amex Stadium.
Brighton has called for investigation and threatened to call police if the culprit does not hand over himself, News.com.au reports.
According to the report, the club authorities have suspended Poyet and his assistant Mauricio Taricco as the Brighton manager had expressed his anger over the mail that the culprit stooped below expectations and should accept responsibility and resign.
The club executives were angry at the Uruguayan manager's furious mail that said that the incident was an apparent attempt to unsettle and upset visitors as Crystal Palace players and employees found themselves in a very uncomfortable situation as they reached the dressing room and area around the toilets, the report added.
