Hindu Munnani objects to Kamal Haasan's visit to APJ Abdul Kalam's school

A Hindu organisation of Tamil Nadu, Hindu Munnani has objected to actor-turned-politician Kamal Haasan's scheduled visit to former president APJ Abdul Kalam's alma mater in Rameswaram, saying schools must not be politicised.

In this regard, Hindu Munnani District President gave a letter to the district collector S. Natarajan, on Tuesday.

Haasan is set to launch his political party on Wednesday, and will mark the beginning of his political journey with a journey of Kalam's hometown, Rameswaram where he will be visiting the APJ Kalam School.
