Kristen Stewart to star in remake of '1984'

Kristen Stewart is set to play the leading role in a romantic remake of '1984', the movie adaption of George Orwell's classic dystopian novel.

Named 'Equals', the film will feature Stewart alongside Nicholas Hoult in what the 23-year-old actress called a slightly updated version of the 1956 film about love in a world, where love really doesn't exist anymore, The Verge reported.

The script is written by Nathan Parker and directed by Drake Doremus.
