6.4 million visitors guzzled 6.7 million litre-sized Mass glasses - more than twice the volume of an Olympic swimming pool - during the just concluded Oktoberfest beer festival.
About 114 oxen and 58 calves fell victim to the appetite of visitors who washed it down with frothy beer and giant pretzels, pork and dumplings, News24.com reported.
The festival was originally held in October over 200 years ago but was brought forward by one month to take advantage of the better weather.
