Liverpool cruise past Swansea to inch closer to top four PL spot

Liverpool has brushed aside rival Swansea City 4-1 as their recent upturn in form enabled them to move to within five points of the top four in the Premier League table.

Alberto Moreno's close-range finish gave Brendon Rodgers' men the lead, which was further consolidated by Adam Lallana's brace in quick succession to leap ahead of the rival. However, Swansea's Gylfi Sigurdsson fought back immediately as he found the net in the 52nd minute.
