Lokayukta Police conducts raid on residence of senior Madhya Pradesh Electricity Board official

The Lokayukta Police in Madhya Pradesh raided the residence of an Additional General Manager (AGM) of the Madhya Pradesh Madhya Kshetra Vidyut Vitaran Company Limited (MPPKVVCL).

The Superintendent of Police of the Lokayukta Police told ANI, "We received information about disproportionate assets at the residence of the AGM of the Madhya Pradesh Electricity Board. According to the information received, he owns a plot in Saket Nagar, a plot in Arera Colony and few others in the Kolar area."

"Apart from this he also owns many bank accounts and locker. Rest the investigation is going on," he added.

The anti-corruption officials, in the last few months, have carried out raids at the residence of various officials, who have been accused of amassing illegal wealth.

 

The recent one took place at the residential premises of Inspector General of Police (IG) Mayank Jain in the month of May.
