LYCOS, one of the leading internet brands in the world, on Tuesday announced the results for fiscal 2014-15 in which the company registered an overall revenue growth of about 16.95 percent compared to last year.
The annual revenue of the company for the year ending March 31, 2015 stood at Rs. 1957 crores as compared to Rs.1673 crores in the corresponding period last year.
The net profit for the fiscal 2014-15 was Rs. 342.22 crores as compared to Rs. 220.96 crores in the previous fiscal.
The revenue from the digital segment grew 22.88 percent over the last year.
Chairman of LYCOS Suresh Reddy attributed the strong financial performance to the company's focus on aligning the relevant technologies around best growth opportunities
"Results this financial year were very strong. Our teams executed well in building solid revenue streams by aligning relevant technologies around best growth opportunities. We continue to focus on providing a simple yet a powerful internet experience to our users and clients," he said.
