Manipur Speaker disqualifies three TMC MLAs under anti-defection law

Manipur Assembly Speaker Th. Lokeshwar Singh on Thursday disqualified three members of the legislative assembly (MLAs) belonging to the Trinamool Congress (TMC) party under the anti-defection law.

According to reports, the three MLAs have been disqualified for leaving their party voluntarily.

The three have been identified as Kh. Joykishan Singh of the Thangmeibandh constituency, Th. Bishwajit Singh of the Thongju constituency and O. Kukhoi Singh of the Wangoi constituency.
