Mt.Everest climbers Poorna and Anand felicitated by PM
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday felicitated young Mount Everest climbers Anand Kumar (16) and Malavath Poorna (13), both of whom hail from Andhra Pradesh.
The two teens achieved this unique feat on the morning of May 25.
Poorna is the youngest girl to climb the world's tallest peak.
She had carried with her a photograph of Dalit leader Dr. B.R. Ambedkar and the Tricolour during her climb.
