Mukherjee condoles passing away of Belarus President's mother

President Pranab Mukherjee on Thursday condoled the passing away of his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko's mother, ahead of his visit to that nation.

"I learned, with sadness, of the passing of your beloved mother on May 26, 2015. Please accept my heartfelt condolences on your bereavement. May you have the strength to bear this irreparable loss," President Mukherjee's message to President Lukashenko read.

President Mukherjee is scheduled to visit Belarus between June 2 and 4.
