United States President Barack Obama has said that Kenya should hold "visible" trials in order to counter the problem of corruption in the country.

According to the BBC, Obama said that the issue of corruption could be the "biggest impediment" to further growth in the country.

After the talks in Nairobi, Obama and Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta had said that they are "united against terrorism".

However, both Presidents differed sharply in their stands on gay rights.

Obama strongly spoke against discrimination while Kenyatta accepted that Kenya did not share the same values.
