Tunisian Parliament adopts new-anti terror law to counter Islamist terrorists

The parliament of Tunisia has adopted a new anti-terror law to counter threats from Islamist militants.
According to the BBC, the move came following two attacks at tourism sites, a beach and hotel at Sousse in June and a museum in Tunis in March.
Terror convicts could face the death penalty under the new law and any expression in support of terrorism is a jailable offence.
The law was passed by MPs after three days of intense debates.
However, rights groups have condemned the new measures as draconian.
