Pakistan has entered the finals of the Under-19 World Cup following an impressive victory over England on Monday at the Dubai International Stadium.

Pakistan, which was chasing a target of 205, was 142/7 in the game in 36.5 overs due to some fine fielding and bowling from England, however, all-rounders Amad Butt (26) and Zafar Gohar (37) held their nerve in a 63-run partnership to take the two-time champions to victory in the last over of the match.

According to The Dawn, Pakistani captain Sami Aslam hailed the players for the victory, and specially thanked Saud Shakeel, Butt and Gohar for winning them the game.

Meanwhile, England captain Will Rhodes said that Pakistan is a tough opponent, and wished them all the best for their final clash.
