Three Airbus A330 aircraft from Sri Lankan Airlines has been acquired by the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) on a wet lease, reports said.
The aircraft will be used for a 'Premier Service' from Aug 14 and will be operated for flights from Islamabad to London, reports the Dawn.
The move means the SriLankan Airlines crew will operate the flights while the exterior is painted in traditional Pakistan International Airlines colours with the national carrier's logo.
The aircraft is said to travel 11 hours per day and will cost PIA $ 88,000 daily.
