PETA ropes in celebs for horse carriage ban ad campaign

PETA's latest ads to support Mayor de Blasio's proposed horse-carriage ban will feature Tim Gunn, Anjelica Huston, Edie Falco and Russell Simmons.

The organization said that the ads feature a horse that died on the street in 2011, with a photo of one of the celebs and a quote, the New York Post reported.

Fashion consultant Gunn said that carriage drivers have been filmed spewing racist, sexist and homophobic taunts at anyone who dares express concern for the unfortunate horses.
