Peter Fonda to star in Ridley Scott's pilot 'Galyntine'

Peter Fonda has joined the cast of AMC pilot 'Galyntine', which is a sci-fi fantasy series by Ridley Scott, as a series regular.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the 74-year-old 'Easy Rider' star will play a "grizzled, ultra traditionalist hard-ass" handyman's shop owner named Crawford in the show, who's no longer a leader among his band of survivors.

The pilot, which has rejected all technology, also features 'The Shield' star Catherine Dent, and will be helmed by director David Mackenzie along with Scott, David Zucker, Greg Nicotero and Jason Cahill who'll executive produce the project.
