PM Modi condoles loss of lives in Russian plane crash

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday expressed his condolences over the loss of lives in a Russian passenger plane crash.

"Deepest condolences on the tragic loss of life in today's air crash in Moscow. Our thoughts are with the families of the victims," Modi said in a statement.

Earlier in the day, a Russian plane, Antonov An-148 crashed on the outskirts of Moscow killing all 71 people that were onboard.

The flight was taking off from Moscow's Domodedovo airport when the incident took place.
