Preparation in full swing for 'Maati Ke Rang' festival

Preparations are in full swing at the North East Zone Cultural Centre (NEZCC) here for the national cultural festival 'Maati Ke Rang' to be held from January 13 to 17.

The third edition of the festival is being organized by the Ministry of Culture.

Addressing to mediapersons on Friday, the Director of NEZCC, Lipokmar Tzudir, said 'Maati Ke Rang' is considered to be one of the largest festivals organised by Ministry of Culture. He expressed optimism that the festival will trigger greater cultural respect and appreciation of one another.

Tzudir further said that around 600 artistes both national and from four neighboring countries like Bhutan, Nepal, Bangladesh and Myanmar have already arrived

 

Union Ministers, senior Central Government officials and many other dignitaries will be present at the festival.
