Princess Madeleine of Sweden gives birth to baby girl

Princess Madeleine of Sweden has given birth to her first child on Thursday.

The European royal, who is fourth in line to the country's throne, welcomed a daughter along with her husband, banker Christopher O'Neill, at a hospital in New York City, Contactmusic reported.

A spokesman for the Swedish royal family announced the news, saying that both mother and child are in good health.
