Qatar is likely to host the Pakistan Twenty20 League in February 2016.
Confirming the news, Qatar Cricket Association head Gul Khan said there is a 70 percent chance that Doha will host the tournament Sport24 quoted.
Khan said that it will be good for Qatar to host some big international tournament that might feature some major cricket nations, adding that he hopes the Super League will attract spectators from neighbouring UAE.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is expected to take a final call in early September when visiting Qatar.
Qatar will also host the World Athletics Championships in 2019 and Football World Cup 2022 and will also announce their decision about hosting the 2024 Summer Olympics.
