Qatar has initiated a new campaign called 'reflect your respect' which encourages tourist to dress 'decently' and preserve Qatar's culture and values.
According to the Washington post, the campaign was started by a group of Qatari women that will officially launch next month.
The campaign includes distributing brochures to tourists, proving details of what attire they should avoid, the report added.
The brochure includes graphic images of people wearing shorts, skirts, and t-shirts and a 'cross' sign signaling prohibition of such attire.
The new campaign prohibits men from wearing shorts, however the state is planning to host the 2022 soccer world-cup.
