Queen Latifah set to host Hollywood Film Awards in November

Queen Latifah will host the Hollywood Film Awards in November, 2014 at the Hollywood Palladium, it has been revealed.

Whilst talking about the Oscar-nominated actress, CBS EVP specials Jack Sussman said that Latifah was a triple threat as could act, sing and dance and the actress was beloved by audiences across multiple genres and she entertains millions of people every day, Deadline.com reported.

The award ceremony was founded by Carlos de Abreu 17 years ago.

The latest season will air on CBS and Dick Clark will produce the telecast, with de Abreu executive producing alongside Allen Shapiro, Mike Mahan, Mark Bracco and R. A. Clark.
