Rajiv Mehrshi assumes charge as Fertilizers Secretary

Rajiv Mehrishi, an officer of the 1978 batch of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), today assumed charge as the Secretary, Department of Fertilizers in the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers.

Mehrishi take over from Sudhir Mital, who retired on November 30.

Mehrishi was Secretary in the Ministry of Overseas Indian Affairs before his present assignment.
