Sameer Kaul tenders resignation from PDP

Senior Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leader Dr. Sameer Kaul has tendered his resignation from the party.

Kaul, who was also the party's spokesperson, has reportedly asserted that "all stated principles of the creation of PDP were straightforwardly compromised."

Meanwhile, Minister of State in Prime Minister's Office (PMO), Jitendra Singh, refused to make any statement on the matter.

"It is the internal matter of PDP. It will not suitable for us to comment on it," Singh said.
