Tourists threw snowballs at each other and enjoyed winter season's first snowfall here on Saturday .
Snowfall in Kufri in Himachal Pradesh delighted tourists, who were earlier, disappointed due to no snow. Every year, hundreds of domestic tourists throng Kufri to enjoy snowfall.
"Today we were returning back home but in the morning we saw little snowfall in Shimla and planned to come to Kufri. The route is blocked but we are enjoying the weather here," said a tourist Shailesh.
Meanwhile, director of meteorological department of Himachal Pradesh, Manmohan Singh, said the town will witness snowfall till December 24.
"Kufri in Shimla has been witnessing little snowfall since morning. So far, it has received three to four inches of snowfall and it will continue to receive till 24th of this month," said Singh.
He added that other districts of the state including Naldehra, Fagu, Narkanda and Kinnaur will also witness snowfall.
