Demi Moore has admitted that she was in "absolute shock" when she got to know a man was found dead in her Los Angeles house's backyard pool.
The 'Striptease' actress said that she was out of the country to meet her daughters for a birthday celebration when she got the devastating news, E! Online reported.
The 52-year-old American actress added that this was a big tragedy for the young man's family and friends and requested media to respect the privacy of all concerned during this sensitive time.
A law enforcement source informed that Moore or her family were not home at the time of the event and are not involved in the death that reportedly happened due to accidental drowning.
Police and the fire department were notified by people via an anonymous 911 call and there were five people at the home when authorities arrived.
