The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Thursday stated that the launch of 'Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Shramev Jayate' scheme among others by Prime Minister Narendra Modi is a part of ongoing process to make India business friendly and meet the aspirations of the youth.
"This is part of ongoing process to make India business friendly to take the Indian economy forward and to meet the aspirations of people, particularly the young who want to see the jobs return to their lives," BJP spokesperson MJ Akbar told ANI here.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi earlier today launched the 'Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Shramev Jayate' scheme among others, aimed at creating a conducive environment for industrial development and doing business with ease.
Under the 'Shramev Jayate' scheme, the labourers will get Unique Labour Identification Numbers, LIN, to facilitate their online registration. At least four crore labourers are expected to benefit from this scheme.
Prime Minister Modi also dedicated to the nation a unified labour portal called 'Shram Suvidha' and Universal Account Number for Employees Provident Fund besides the Apprentices 'Protsahan Yojana' which will support one lakh apprentices.
