SR Kar, new Director General of PIB
SR Kar is appointed as the new Director General of Press Information Bureau on Friday.
Kar will assume the office from May 1.
He will replace former PIB Director-General Frank Noronha, who is set to retire in 2018.
The Press Information Bureau is headed by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
