At least two people were "critically" injured when a commuter train rammed a private car on the Khilgaon rail crossing in Dhaka on Thursday morning.
The incident took place after the car broke through the gates on the crossing around 10.30 a.m., the Daily Star quoted Abdul Kuddus, an assistant sub-inspector of Dhaka Government Railway Police (GRP), as saying.
He added, "The gates were closed for passage of the train, but a car broke through the gates on to the rail crossing. The driver of the car and a rickshaw-puller were critically injured on the spot. They were rushed to a hospital.
