UK woman becomes mum and granny in just 24 hrs

An UK woman has become a mother and a grandmother all in one day, after she and her daughter delivered their baby just within 24 hours.

Andrea Rafferty gave birth to 9lb Aleisha Mason and the next morning she watched her 19-year-old daughter Amber Moore, giving birth to son, Jacob Blacklock, in the same maternity ward at West Cumberland Hospital, Whitehaven, Cumbria, the Daily Express reported.

Rafferty's grandson was born five weeks early, on June 15, weighing 5lb 13oz.
