English footballer Wayne Bridge has reportedly promised his fiance pop star Frankie Sandford that he would be present during the birth of their child.
Sources revealed that the 33-year old footballer has told friends that he will be at the birth even if he has to run off the field mid-match, the Daily Star reported.
Sources added that Bridge has made it clear no matter what he's doing, if 'The Saturdays' star is about to give birth, he's heading to her, and has made sure there'll be someone there by the side of the pitch to tell him when the 24-year old Saturdays star goes into labour.
Though no footballer is allowed to leave the pitch unless they get a red card, are injured or taken off, he is adamant that he will be an exception to the rule, as he knows how upset Sandford would be if he couldn't be with her in the birthing suite.
The pair is expecting their first child in October this year.
