Joni Mitchell has been hospitalized and has currently been kept in intensive care.
The 71-year-old legendary singer, who was rushed to hospital after being found unconscious, went through a surgical procedure shortly after arrival, and is now "awake and in good spirits," TMZ.com reported.
Following a 911 call from her home, paramedics went to the 'Big Yellow Taxi' star's Los Angeles home around 2:30 PM. It's still unclear what prompted the medical emergency.
