Alembic Pharmaceuticals standalone net profit rises 191.94% in the March 2020 quarter

Sales rise 23.55% to Rs 1048.56 crore

Net profit of Alembic Pharmaceuticals rose 191.94% to Rs 314.30 crore in the quarter ended March 2020 as against Rs 107.66 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2019. Sales rose 23.55% to Rs 1048.56 crore in the quarter ended March 2020 as against Rs 848.70 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2019.

For the full year,net profit rose 58.60% to Rs 969.40 crore in the year ended March 2020 as against Rs 611.21 crore during the previous year ended March 2019. Sales rose 12.90% to Rs 4132.55 crore in the year ended March 2020 as against Rs 3660.27 crore during the previous year ended March 2019.
