The Conference presided over by the President, PHD Chamber Alok B. Shriram in which CEO of Global Mindset Pradeep Khanna and Scientist G, Department of Scientific & Industrial Research Ashwani Gupta including MD, J&K SIDCO Amit Sharma were key speakers highlighted that India needed to gear up to absorb innovations and disruptive technologies in its manufacturing and value engineering to revive its growth path.
Ola Cab and evolving e-commerce are one such platforms that personify with disruptive technologies as these have transformed business transactions in four wheeler segment as well as retail trading. Though, in its preliminary stages, the two businesses have shown the way that out of box ideas if implemented with mindset equip with technological orientation can change the business patterns which needs to be emulated by Indians having aspirations to take greater strides to enhance business volume, said Khanna.
Gupta who represented the department of scientific and industrial research held that government has been encouraging research and innovations and attempting its best to implement the policies of the government through adoption of disruptive innovations results of which would follow.
